Hömluholt is located in Snæfellsnes, just 115 km from Reykjavík, or about 30 minutes’ drive west of Borgarnes. At Hömluholt live the married couple Gísli Guðmundsson and Helga S. Narfadóttir, along with their daughter Jófríður Kristjana Gísladóttir. The facilities for horse activities are excellent at Hömluholt, including a stable for 16 horses, indoor facilities, and a riding arena. There are good riding trails in the vicinity, including short access to Löngufjörur.
